Applied Systems Intelligence (ASI) is a world-wide leader in cognitive computing and cognitive engines to human performance support and decision aiding tools.
ASI has developed a cognitive software concept called the ISR Fusion Tool. The powerful cognitive engines conduct smart machine to machine interface capability to query numerous data bases including the DIB in the cross domain environment.
YOU NEED THE "E" IN PROCESS, EXPLOIT, DISSEMINATE The system uses logic algorithms that overcome the human challenge of situational understanding with dynamic planner tools to expedite combat and interagency decisions in a visual, describe and direct construct. Customizable logic modules are modified in the field by military personnel using a web based solution to address changing conditions and leadership understanding on the battlefield. The configurable knowledge base provides a deeper, rich framework of situational understanding and ISR fusion to the operator in a non disruptive way.
This capability to understand and recognize the operators challenge and provide reasoning and Actionable Intelligence guidance are part of ASI’s technologies currently being leveraged on the Joint Strike Fighter program. SAFE-T is useful in domains with the following characteristics: | Large Volume of Data – The ISR fusion tool can provide context sensitive display management, filter out irrelevant data, and transform data into a useful form. | | Complex Array of Actions – The ISR fusion tool can propose or select plans based on the current intentions of the actors and the state of the environment. | | Critical Response Time – Adaptive, rather than optimal planning, allows ISR fusion tool to make context sensitive decisions relatively quickly. | | Situational Understanding – can draw conclusions about the state of the world from observable data. | | Intent Interpretation – can understand the intent of a user by observing his/her actions and the assessed state of the world. | | Dynamic Planning – can select plans to accomplish the user’s objectives, propose them to the user or execute them autonomously, dynamically re-plan as the situation changes and monitor the user’s execution of the plan for errors. | | Actionable Intelligence – can send commands for interpretation and execution by external systems. | | Display and Share Relevant Information –can manage the content of the user’s display to provide the user with information relevant to his/her current intent. | | Collaboration – can coordinate the sharing of conclusions about world state and high-level intent among multiple agents and detect conflicts in the intent of collaborating agents. | |
