Proposal Manager
Job Description/Duties:
ASI is seeking a full time, permanent Proposal Manager to provide proposal management and proposal development support to our government business area through managing proposal teams through the entire proposal life-cycle.
• Manage and coordinate preparation of responses to federal RFI’s, RFP’s and/or SBIR’s
• Develop and incorporate a win strategy.
• Provide guidance and assistance in the bid, proposal, and contract preparation process, including assisting with the development of technical specifications and contract language.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a proposal calendar and schedule.
• Perform tasks of prioritizing work, managing resources, and troubleshooting issues to ensure documentation adheres to policies, procedures, standards, and schedules
• Participate in Blogs, Forums, and Website updates
• Provide Marketing materials/communications to be used at Trade Shows and Conferences
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English or Communications
• 5 or more years of successful experience preparing federal proposals in the federal government marketplace
• Or equivalent skill, knowledge and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Excellent written, verbal communications, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Proven track record of successful proposal leadership in the federal government marketplace
• Thorough understanding of the government procurement process and requirements
• Ability to research, interpret, and analyze precedent decisions, laws and regulations according to the FAR as they apply to the development of proposals
• Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously
